We we all carry many titles. Right now I currently carry the SINGLE, Mom, full time worker, part time student & team mom titles. 27 and Single was not life as I pictured it. Never married had my share of failed relationships. I have a beautiful daughter, my first home, good job and persuing my education but Im still missing something it not enough want someone to share it all with. Some one who wants to witness my life and share their life with me as well. So I am on that quest but its a Rocky road....Dating... the Final frontier... it seems like lol Im here to share the ups and down of my journey and give my opinion and thoughts.
So first topic that is an issue in my life right now is How important is a relationship title really? Well, you know... I never really gave a crap about this topic before because it never was a big issue for me. Growing up you find a guy you like, he likes you back and before you know it you are the girlfriend. I have now noticed that as you get older people are more complicated and so are relationships. People have baggage and trust issues and Blah Blah Blah. The person I am dating is not a fan of the title. It was major issue at first but then I started to think.....Does a title stop a man from cheating? Does a title make the relationship anymore committed? Does the title mayke the trust issues go away? Doe that man or woman always flaunt the title when asked by the opposite sex? Why have we been so programed to put so much into the impotance of the title instead of the impotance of the committment the two people share?
In the end Im a girl and that what you do, you be a girlfriend to someone....so this is weird for me but Im learning a lot and really thinking about things in a different light....Plus im going to Vegas in April for the first time and I think I want to be single for that so we may just revist this issue after April 18th LMAO
I don't even know what it's like to be single in Vegas, so you must be so you can tell me how great it is lol
